Commissions are a special type of project. Incorporating the visions, memories, and feelings of another person into my work is rewarding.
This commission piece is special. On a Friday night, Walter & Donna Tom invited us to their home to view the space where they wanted an original "JP Fine Art" collage. Two days later, the Tubbs fire destroyed their home, along with almost 6,000 others in Sonoma County. When something this devastating faces us, we "pick up" and carry on. Two years later, Walter is handing me a check for the completed painting, "Love At First Sight."
